We are the student ministry of First Baptist Church in Jerseyville, IL. We provide students with an opportunity to know Jesus, whether that is through a lesson that we do out of God’s word or through a concert. Our goal is for students to start a relationship with Jesus, walk with Jesus, and help others walk with Jesus. We want to partner with parents to help train up their child in the way they should go. We do this so that they will never turn away from Jesus.

What Happens At Fusion?

High School & Middle School students (Grades 6-12) meet Wednesdays [no Wednesday programming in the summer] and Sundays.

What do we do for Fusion on Sunday nights?

On Sunday, the Fusion Teen Center opens at 5:30pm. Students can play pool, ping-pong, air hockey, foosball, basketball or just hang out.   At 6pm we begin our worship service by welcoming everyone and going through announcements. Every Sunday night we open up the Word of God and go through a series that relates to all of us.  Our group breaks into small groups and following discussion, we dismiss at 8pm.

What do we do for Fusion on Wednesday nights?

Everyone needs a break and a time to relax, including teenagers, so our Wednesday nights are focused on being relational and having fun hanging out and playing games.  Having fun together, helps us know Jesus better, helps us not take ourselves to seriously and it creates a community.  Doors open at 5:30 and Wednesday nights end at 7pm.
